Calm Breeze does something rashCalm Breeze, that cricketing enigma of Thistle 2nds was , on Saturday spotted doing something rash. Onlookers were taken aback as Calm Breeze was seen to call for a run that simply wasn't there. Charging up the track like a headless chicken calling "Yes... run!!", the Breeze left his partner rooted to the spot. In an spectacular effort to get home before being run out James Crozier failed to make the line and was duly dispatched to the hutch. The Breeze made a passing comment that James had failed to back up, much to the amusement of the standing umpire who had seen suicide written all over this unusual rash moment.
Back in the pavilion shortly after the Calm Breeze nicked one to slip JC and SC met in the dressing room. A clearly embarrased CB apologised to JC. stating that he didn't know what came over him and would seek psychological help immediately.
The remainder of the side have all received counseling having never before witnessed the like in the umpteen years the Breeze has been in the side.
Hopefully they will all have recovered by the Dunecht game from this trauma!
